Health Benefits of Feijoa

Feijoa is a fruit and is also known as ‘guavasteen’ or ‘pineapple guava’. An evergreen shrub gives this sweet fruit. This shrub grows in the highlands of southern Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina, Russia, Georgia, Iran, Azerbaijan and New Zealand. This fruit is green in color. It has a juicy sweet seed pulp and its flavor is aromatic and sweet. The fruit is used as an ingredient of fruit smoothies to desserts, cocktails and stewed fruit dishes.
