Know the facts about Acai berry

A little round black-purple fruit from the Acai Palm tree is known as the Acai berry. The ripe fruit exocarp is a deep purple or green color. The color depends on Acai kind and its maturity. The fleshy middle layer is pulpy and thin. The fruit has a large seed and it is used as animal fodder. The two harvests normally happen between January and June and August and December.

This mild sweet fruit has a rich fiber. Antioxidant (anthocyanin) found in this fruit balance cholesterol level of the body. The plant stoles provide good cardio protection. It assists in your weight loss. It improves disgestion, energy levels, guard skin health and reduces irritation.
