Apricot is a deciduous tree. Its height

produces yellow or reddish orange fruit known as Apricots. It can be directly
consumed. The dried fruit can also be consumed as dry fruit. Apricot is used in
the preparation several jams, juices, jellies and squash. The seed of the
apricot contains hydrogen cyanide, which is a poisonous substance. Turkey,
Italy, Iran, Syria, Greece, Spain and China are the main producers of the apricot
fruit.
