Health Benefits of Blueberry

Blueberries are perennial flowering plants. It has either deciduous or evergreen leaves. It has bell-shaped flowers. The color of the flower ranges from white to pale pink or red. At first its fruit appears in greenish, later changed into reddish-purple and finally dark purple in color. The matured fruit has a sweet taste. The smaller species are called as lowbush berries. The largest blueberry producing countries are the United States, Canada, Mexico, Poland and Germany.
